expect delays

well with all of the christmas bustle, i have slacked on my posts.  please, do not lose hope.  i have been working on several projects for christmas, have thought of some new accessory ideas, have been working on a post in which i am most excited about, and i have figured out a way to post some of my music.  i can't wait to get all of these things on my page, but with my internet connection at home, i find it quite frustrating to try and post anything.  please be patient and i promise i will have loads of new material for the new year!!!

christmas inspirations

so, as many of you may know, it's Christmas time!!!!  recently i have been knitting scarves due to the cold weather, but ever since i convinced my mom to pick me up a fossil owl coin purse for christmas, i have been obsessed with creating some cute owl accessories.  with the recent Christmas decorating going on i've been wanting to try some owl ornaments like this one:

i found this owl ornament at the blog, you go girl.  The pattern can be found here.   I just thought these owls were so cute!!! i can't wait to try and make one i'll try posting some pics if i ever make some.  my obsession with owls continues so i might post some more cute ideas later. :)

so i have started this blog.  this is my first post and i am not to sure on how to start out, i am a blogger newbie.  but i guess the important thing is that i am starting this new element of my life within this online journal of ideas and inspirations.  i expect this to be something new and something challenging for me, but i do believe that this will be good for my right sided-brain.  i want all my random thoughts, emotions, and ideas in one spot in order to reference them later in life.  even though i created this for mainly my personal use, i also hope i can inspire and get some feedback from people who share the same passions as i do.
